Industry structure
Who already holds the Commonwealth work: how few groups hold how much, how far one supplier reaches across agencies that cannot see each other's books, and how much of the year sits on a handful of very large contracts. Know the incumbents before you bid.
One supplier, several agencies
The figure no agency can produce from inside its own procurement data. Each of these groups holds a material share of several agencies' spending at once, while every one of those agencies sees only its own slice of it.
How far one supplier reaches
Most supplier groups sell to a single agency. Most of the money does not go to them.
Supplier concentration
How much of the total goes to how few groups, after suppliers are resolved to their parent.
Contract size
Where the year's spending sits by the size of the contract carrying it, rather than by who holds it.
Where suppliers are registered
The country on the supplier's registered address. This is not a measure of ownership and not a measure of where work is performed.
New and continuing suppliers
Whether the groups holding this year's contracts are the ones that held last year's.
Supplier size is not in the source
AusTender does not publish whether a supplier is a small or medium enterprise, so no such share appears anywhere on this page and none is inferred.
